Stephanie Betant heads Global Trade Solutions for HSBC UK, her team powers the industry leading trade platform in the UK bringing working capital solutions for domestic and international corporates.
Her career began in New York, eventually taking her to China where she led the team financing Chinese international investments, was part of the leadership team which built HSBC’s corporate franchise in China. Prior to coming to the UK, she headed the Corporate and Institutional bank in Vietnam.
She is a mother to two young boys, a French national who speaks fluent French and English with conversational Mandarin and Spanish. She is passionate about building lasting bridges between the East and West.
