Mirshod Shakirov
Mirshod Shakirov, FRSA, FRAS, is an entrepreneur, investor and business diplomacy strategist working at the intersection of global markets, cross-cultural intelligence and the New Silk Road. A former United Nations Headquarters officer in New York, he is Founder and Executive Chairman of Business Diplomat, the world’s first Think-Do Tank dedicated to business diplomacy and the Modern Silk Road. Through Business Diplomat, he leads a community of over 100 founders and business leaders across Central Asia, connecting entrepreneurs, institutions and decision-makers across international markets. Mirshod is the founder of Human Corridor Theory and author of The Corridor Doctrine, exploring how trust and human relationships shape global business. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and the Royal Asiatic Society, he brings an insider’s perspective on Central Asia and how international businesses can navigate its cultures, networks and opportunities to successfully enter and grow in the region.
