Magdalena Mikolajczyk is the founder of Nexus Customs & Legal Ltd, a UK-based consultancy specialising in import/export compliance, customs regulations, and sanctions screening. She holds two legal degrees in both EU and UK law and brings over 15 years of experience in trade compliance. Throughout her career, Magdalena has worked with global customers and legal authorities worldwide across sectors including defence (MOD), pharmaceuticals, automotive, and food. She has led global expansion programmes, designed and implemented compliance frameworks, and driven automation across complex international supply chains. Magdalena founded Nexus to make trade compliance accessible and practical for UK businesses, particularly SMEs who often lack in-house expertise. She has developed a digital services platform offering online compliance assessments and sanctions screening. She publishes the Nexus Compliance Digest newsletter covering regulatory changes, sanctions updates, and practical guidance for international trade.
