Having graduated from Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics, Artus started a career in financial regulation, working for the Financial Services Authority and the Bank of England. In 2018, Artus changed paths and became the Brexit special advisor to Xavier Bertrand, President of the Hauts-de-France regional council. At the start of 2021, Xavier Bertrand appointed Artus as Hauts-de-France representative to the UK, and he joined Nord France Invest, the regional investment promotion agency, to work of strengthening economic and business links with the UK and Ireland.
