Anna Akerman is a Defence Director at PwC Consulting and Strategic Lead for PwC’s Defence Scale Up Programme, helping founders and SMEs grow at home and abroad. She leads multimillionpound programmes across government, police forces and national security, including the Team Hypersonics UK strategic partnership and the MoD Research & Development System Implementation Programme—work recognised with a Military Capability Award. Anna drives humancentred, techenabled transformation, fusing operational impact with AI, data and digital tooling. She challenges the status quo, mobilises crossdisciplinary teams at pace and works with industry partners to bring advanced technology into military capability. Beyond Defence, she has led awardwinning transformational programmes in Policing and Government. An advocate for social value and a visible role model for women in Defence and STEM, Anna helps clients build readiness and deliver outcomes with impact.
