Alina Harastasanu leads the European business development efforts at JobsOhio across nine targeted industries that range from aerospace to food and food processing. Prior to moving to the U.S., Alina worked in Italy as a consultant on projects funded by the European Commission. Her experience spans across the whole EU space and multiple industries. Before joining JobsOhio she worked for an Ohio based tier 2 automotive supplier. Her position involved hedging risk deriving from trade agreements, tariffs, political elections, Brexit, the Belt and Road initiative etc.
Originally from Romania, Alina graduated from the University of Bucharest with a bachelor’s degree in political sciences. She holds a master’s degree in geopolitics and international security from University of Rome “La Sapienza” and an MBA from The Ohio State University with an International Business major.
Alina has been living in Columbus, OH since 2013 and is proud to call it “HOME”.
