Alfred Waithaka, MBA, CPA, CAMS is a strategic governance and audit leader with over 15 years’ experience in senior roles across global financial institutions. Currently Senior Audit Director at Barclays Europe, he has a proven track record in risk management, regulatory oversight, and building high-performing teams. A Central Bank of Ireland–approved leader, Alfred has driven audit transformation through data analytics and generative AI, strengthening both assurance and efficiency.

Beyond his corporate career, Alfred is committed to faith-driven service and community empowerment. He founded Gitite Bridges to a Bright Future in Kenya, delivering education, youth, and poverty reduction projects, and serves as pro bono auditor and advisor to the Tumaini Fund UK & Tanzania. Passionate about mentoring, inclusion, and education access, he has supported youth, neurodiverse communities, and grassroots initiatives. Grounded in integrity, compassion, and resilience, Alfred brings a unique blend of professional expertise and lived experience to every role.
