Front Street Consulting - Former Head of Corporate Affairs and Marketing at Associated British Ports
David is the founder of Front Street Consulting, providing support for businesses and organisations, including central government, on a wide range of corporate and strategic issues. Prior to this David was Group Head of Corporate Affairs and Marketing at Associated British Ports (‘ABP’), the UK’s leading port operator. ABP has a network of 21 ports around Britain handling one quarter the UK’s seaborne trade, supporting 119,000 jobs in key sectors across the economy ranging from automotive to retail. At ABP David had board-level responsibility for the company’s marketing, stakeholder and media engagement, and employee communications. His role included leading ABP’s Brexit Strategy, focussing on addressing the challenges and seizing the opportunities presented by Brexit. David has written extensively about trade resilience, promoting exports and global trade. David has also held roles in the Rail Freight Group, working on behalf of the industry to build Government support, and Mitsubishi Corporation.
